Marketing Generalist
Spark Universe is hiring a Marketing Generalist, to work on marketing materials for the Essential Mod, as well as Minecraft marketplace worlds such as the official Minecraft SpongeBob DLC or DRAGONS++. This is a full time position.
What you’ll do
- Concept and create audiovisual assets like:
- Trailers
- Screenshots
- Cinematics
- Time-lapses
- Product showcases
- In-game cutscenes
- And more...
- Closely collaborate with other marketing team members
- Collaborate with our art and dev teams
- Plan and direct recording sessions with actors
Your background (Required)
- Experience in shooting and editing Minecraft videos
- High quality standards and artistic eye for audiovisual content
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
- Strong judgement and initiative to carry out projects
- Strong sense of Minecraft’s qualities and visual language
- General knowledge and experience playing Minecraft
- Ability to create graphics for general purposes
Desired traits (Optional)
- Experience taking screenshots for Minecraft Marketplace products
- Knowledge of Minecraft Bedrock workflows:
- Importing and handling worlds, developer resource packs, and behaviour packs
- Basic experience with command blocks, structure blocks, function files, and chunker
- Working with models, textures and animations in Blockbench
- Knowledge of Blockbench to Bedrock import workflow
- Knowledge of Minecraft Java Edition mods:
- Replay Mod
- Aperture Mod
- Minema Mod
- Blockbuster Mod
- Essential Mod
- Experience with various tools:
- Davinci Resolve
- Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- Photoshop
- GitLab/GitHub
- Visual Studio Code
