Gamers Beat Cancer
Gamers Beat Cancer is an initiative that helps fund cancer research and beat cancer one level at a time. Together with ParkerGamers, we set out to help create content for a 48-hour long livestream event to support Gamers Beat Cancer.
Supporting a big charity live stream to fund cancer research.
We created two hub worlds themed after a Mediterranean town and an Aztec jungle temple. These hubs facilitate the activity of players on the custom server when switching between different minigames. The Mediterranean town is set on a small island and has many detailed facades of beautiful buildings as well as a plaza in the middle of the town. On top of that players have access to a large open beach. The Aztec Jungle features an enclosed bay with a large temple surrounded by rocks. When the player turns around they will be faced with a village on the water consisting of multiple wooden huts connected by a network of paths.
The stream raised approximately 19,000 USD towards the Gamers Beat Cancer cause.
